Mid-Autumn Festival, also knows as the Moon Festival, it is the time of the year that the moon is at the roundest and brightest. In Chinese tradition, it is a day where family gather to have a reunion, eating moon cakes, appreciating the full moon with beautiful and colorful lanterns.

Odyssey Orchard held a fun and exciting evening to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, gathering the children, parents and teachers with a variety of activities.

Parents watched performances by the children and teachers. Children performed dancing and singing to songs that represent appreciation to the moon and teachers dramatized the tale connected with the Mid-autumn Festival, “Chang-E”, also known as the Moon Lady.
Parents and children were also engaged with the moon cake making and eating. They played some traditional games and did a lantern walk around the school decorated with colourful lanterns, appreciating the full moon.
