Weelai Suwanarat

I began active involvement in the field of early childhood care and education in 1987. I have worked with infants as young as 2 months and primary school children in student care programmes. However, working with pre-schoolers remains my first love, especially in developing their language and literacy skills.  

With a Master of Education in Early Childhood from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, I have been specially trained in Infant and Toddler Care and have previously worked in an infant centre in Perth.  I am currently furthering my studies in Doctorate Programme.

As a Director of Odyssey, I play a key role in supporting the programme in all areas - programme management and administration, staff management, operational efficiency as well as ensuring curriculum delivery standards and consistency. I am also involved in promoting the continuous professional growth of Odyssey’s educators through supervision, coaching, mentoring, teacher training, educational research and other professional development activities.
