Komala Dewantara

Working with young preschoolers has been my passion since I was in high school. My basic degree is a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and my Masters is in Early Childhood Education from Andrews University in Michigan, USA. I have worked in this field for about 14 years, in which I have had the opportunity of working as a preschool teacher, a principal, a teacher trainer, a practicum supervisor, and a placement coordinator.

I believe that each child is an individual who deserves respect and an equal chance to prove his/her abilities in a safe, positive and conducive environment. A close partnership between teachers and parents is essential to further strengthen the child's progress and development. With this in mind and positive team work among the staff at Odyssey, Wilkinson, it is my objective to see Odyssey as a place whereby children are happy to come every morning and parents have their full trust in us.
