Yvette Lee

I hold a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Children and Family Studies from Edith Cowan University, Australia and have more than 15 years of experience in early childhood; I was a Chinese Language Teacher for many years, lectured certificate and diploma courses in Early Childhood Education (Chinese) and was previously a principal of a childcare centre.

I believe strongly in effecting changes and promoting innovation in early childhood curriculum practices in order to improve children’s learning and competencies in the Chinese Language. As programme specialist, I work very closely with the Chinese Language teachers in the classrooms, and am actively involved in mentoring and coaching them to ensure high-quality standards in curriculum planning; I advocate the effective learning of Chinese as a means of expression and communication, and support the Language Immersion programmes at Odyssey.
